Imperial German Helmet Plates, a very large Prussian die-stamped white metal pickelhaube plate (now rusty) remains of two screw fasteners to reverse (approx 13cm x 13cm); a Prussian officer’s silver plated copper pickelhaube plate the crowned eagle holding the orb and sceptre and applied crowned cypher on the breast, screw fasteners (most of the frontal plating now missing) (approx 12.8cm x 11.5cm); an other ranks die-stamped brass pickelhaube plate displaying the standard eagle, mottoes and cypher but with additional ‘Colberg 1807’ beneath the cypher (one screw fastener remains) the eagle’s head detached but present, small hole in one wing and one fastener missing (approx 12.5cm x 13cm) (3) £100-120

The ‘Colberg 1807’ plate was worn by the 2nd 3rd 26th & 35th Field Artillery Regiments and by the 9th Prussian Grenadiers.
