Second Engineer L. Gibson, of 7 Abbott’s Hill, Ramsgate, is the third man. He was thirty years of age, and has been married nine years. He had no children.’
Engineman Lionel Victor Henry Gibson, R.N.R. died 3 August 1916 when his ship the drifter Rooke was sunk in a collision off Deal, Kent. His name is listed on the Chatham Memorial.
