First about extremely fine and patinated, second extremely fine, reverse with much original colour (£100-150)

Second only illustrated. Charles James, diesinker and engraver, in the late 1780s and early 1790s at Cart’s yard, Church street, Birmingham, and from 1793 at 6 Martlett court, Bow street (Hawkins p.24), was responsible for the design of many 18th century tokens. The obv. is from the same die as his penny (Spence Part I, 1320)
