Collection of 13 A.L.S. by J.C. Herries to his son Edward, Head of the British Legations at Bergne and the Hague, 1846-53. They refer to the turbulent affairs of Europe, the imminence of a major war and his disillusionment with political life [13]. All folded but clean (£50-80)
