Provincial Bank of Ireland Ltd, two preliminary printers proof booklet for £1 from the 1977 Issue, first booklet includes two proofs, no date or serial numbers, McClay signature, first a fully printed proof, second obverse lithograph underprint, reverse fully printed, both cut deliberately with part of the adjacent notes, second booklet includes nine progressive proofs showing various stages of the litho underprints, one with complete underprint design on both sides, five obverse underprints, three reverse underprints, both booklets have a paper cover with printers annotations, each stapled at top, uncirculated (2 booklets)
