Michael Reilly was born in Co. Monaghan, Ireland and enlisted into the Royal Irish Fusiliers in 1892, aged 19 years. He served in the East Indies, February 1893-October 1897; Egypt, October 1897-September 1899 and South Africa, September 1899-December 1900. Reilly was discharged in 1904 at the termination of his period of engagement. Sold with copied service papers.
