74th (Highland) Regiment, a fine and very scarce Sergt-Major’s plaid brooch, the plated plain quoit mounted with the Elephant over a scroll ‘Assaye’, this in silver coloured metal, via four rivets the mount is displayed in relief, stout pin to reverse, (Bloomer p51/52) complete with original velvet lined case, very good condition . £200-300
