Robert II (1371-1390), Groat, Perth, mm. cross pattée, intermediate bust of David II without star on sceptre, tressure of six arcs without trefoils in spandrels, 3.53g/7h (SCBI 35, 476; cf. B 14, fig. 335; S 5137 var.). Faint hairline scratches on bust but good very fine with clear portrait, well centred on a round flan with attractive dark tone, very rare (£300-350)
