Charles I (1625-1649), Tower mint, Sixpence, 1625, Gp A, type 1, mm. lis, first bust, Scottish shield turned through 90 degrees, 2.75g/9h (cf. SCBI Brooker 570ff; N 2235; S 2805). Fine but scratched on obverse, the variety very rare £120-£150
