The rape of Bramber is one of the traditional sub-divisions unique to the county of Sussex, comprising a strip of territory running northwards from the coast to the border with Surrey in the north. It is bordered by the rape of Arundel to the west and the rape of Lewes to the east. The Club was established in 1826
