Tenth Anniversary of the Death of Matthew Boulton, 1819, a silver-gilt medal by G.F. Pidgeon for M.R. Boulton, bust right, rev. legend in wreath, edge impressed patris amicis m.r.b.ciciccccxviiii, 63mm (BHM 976; E 1114). A restrike from lightly rusted dies, extremely fine and very rare with the lettered edge (£200-300)

From the same source as lot 1041 and sold with a photocopied newspaper cutting which mentions the medal.
