Joseph Ethelbert Dorey, a native of London, was born on 5 March 1889 and enlisted in the British Red Cross Society as a Chauffeur/Mechanic on 19 November 1914. He served with the Motor Ambulance Depot during the Great War on the Western Front from 25 November 1914. In later life he was employed a a Motor Fitter in Harrow, and died on 25 March 1981.
