Boer War Period Candlesticks.
A pair in teak made from H.M.S. Terrible when scrapped. 19cm in height, 9.9cm circular base. Each with a brass plaque engraved, ‘From The Teak Of H.M.S. Terrible Whose Guns Relieved Ladysmith’, both stamped on the reverse of the base, ‘Lister Wood Craft’, one with a crack to the sconce section otherwise good condition (2) £120-£160
