Nottinghamshire Combined Constabulary Policeman’s Helmet 1968-74.
A scarce and good quality example of this short period. Of standard blue cloth pattern with chromed metal knop finial and frontal plate, this of crowned star pattern with central circle, ‘Nottinghamshire Combined Constabulary’ enclosing a full Coat of Arms, mainly those of Nottingham but with variation to the central shield. Patent leather chin strap, buff leather sweatband and supplier’s label, ‘Hobson & Sons (London) Ltd.’, very good condition £60-£80
