M.M. London Gazette 3 January 1920:
‘For bravery in the Field with the British Forces in North Russia.’
Edward Buck attested for the Royal Engineers in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, and served with “Syren” Force, Murmansk Command, in North Russia during the Russian Intervention. For his services he was awarded the Military Medal, as well as being awarded the Russian Silver Medal of Zeal.
