Early Anglo-Saxon Period, Continental series (c 695-c 740), Sceatta, series E, variety K, silver plated on a bronze core, bird right, cross in front, rev. standard with four pellets above and triangle of three pellets within, 1.06g/8h (cf. M 193; N 49; S 789). Core with verdigris partly exposed on reverse, otherwise very fine, an unusual and interesting contemporary piece (£20-30)
