Charles I (1625-1649), Tower mint, Halfcrown, Gp III, type 3a1, mm. bell, reads carolv · s, 14.89g/3h (Bull 226b/26; SCBI Brooker 322, same obv. die; N 2209; S 2773). Die flaw along horse’s foreleg [not evident on Brooker specimen], good fine, toned £80-£100
