Medieval, a 10th century bronze Disc Brooch, 27mm diameter, claw-footed quadruped looking back to its raised tail, border of 28 rectangular pellets, catchplate behind. (Weetch type 1; Hattatt 1310). Fine, bent at 45 degrees, with a coarse red-brown patina £60-£80
