Elizabeth I (1558-1603), Fifth issue, Fine Sovereign, mm. escallop, reads nrs, 14.83g/4h (Brown/Comber A17, this coin listed; cf. SCBI Schneider 780; N 2003; S 2529). Possibly removed from a mount at some time (?), light file marks at 12 o’clock, otherwise very fine, rare (£3,500-4,000)
