France, Henri IV, 1606, a large uniface cast bronze medal by G. Dupré, bust in high relief almost full-face, open cloak revealing embroidered doublet, collar and badge of the Order of St Esprit, 100mm, 126.01g (BMC 21; Maz. II, 660; Kress 558; Trésor II, pl.iii, 3). A contemporary cast on a thin flan, the reverse partly hollowed, pierced in field above head, very fine and rare (£150-250)
