TRINOVANTES, Early Uninscribed issues, Quarter-Stater, a contemporary plated imitation of British F [Clacton Cross type], crescent with two appendages (‘two men in a boat’), rev. voided long cross, pellets in angles, 1.05g (cf. Sills class 2, 424; ABC 2356; BMC 180-1; S 41). Much residual plating, fine and unusual £60-£80
