Robert Thomas Bishop was born in Newport, Isle of Wight in August 1890. He served during the Great War with the Canadian Army Medical Corps in the Salonika theatre of war from 20 December 1915. Bishop was commissioned Second Lieutenant in the Hampshire Regiment in 1917.

John William Robert Menear was born in Liverpool, England in February 1874. He served during the Great War with the 7th Battalion (1st British Columbia), Canadian Infantry and was taken prisoner of war on the Western Front. Menear died in Vancouver in October 1953.

John William Randall was born on the Orkney Islands, Scotland in September 1893. He served during the Great War with the 4th Regiment Canadian Mounted Rifles, and was twice wounded in action in 1916, and taken prisoner of war between 2 - 6 June 1916 and interned in Stuttgart.
