A. Angell served with the 2nd Battalion, West India Regiment, in the Gambia Expedition 1891-92, and the Ashanti Expedition 1895-96, and was also entitled to the clasp 1897-98 to his East and West Africa Medal. He was discharged on 4 November 1898.
