Contemporary (?) punch-mark on reverse, small bruise and minor marks on edge, otherwise about extremely fine, very rare £20,000-£30,000

A specific gravity test carried out on this coin revealed the metal content to be 99.5% gold and 0.4% silver. Many specimens of this coin show a similar test mark, often in the same position. Some show signs of this being tooled out or repaired
