Iron Age, an enamelled-bronze harness-strap fitting, 1st century AD, a flat disc with two conjoined trumpets forming a reversed S motif, field around with red enamel and beading around the rim; on the underside is a loop situated towards the edge with a rearward-tapering hook attached to the side, 24mm diameter by 14mm deep, including hook. Very fine with an olive-green patina and 90% of the enamel intact £400-£600

It is a close match in style to chariot horse trappings
