Romano-British, a bronze votive axe head, 2nd century AD, wedge-shaped head decorated on one side with two incised parallel lines with a circular socket ending in a spherical knob, 32mm long by 23mm wide. Very fine with an olive-green patina £60-£80
Provenance: Found in South Cambridgeshire (PAS BH-2A3485)
Votive axes are normally associated with temple sites
