Edward Terry attested into the East Lancashire Regiment and served during the Great War on the Western Front from 22 August 1914. He saw further service with both the 2nd and 7th Battalions before transferring to the 8th Battalion Royal Lancaster Regiment.
Francis Terry was born on 4 August 1926. He attested into the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry and served in Palestine during the 1945-48 campaign. He died in Germany on 21 February 1949, and is buried in Limmer Cemetery, Hannover, Germany, and is also commemorated on the Armed Forces Memorial, Alrewas, Staffordshire.
