The South Wales Borderers 3rd Volunteer Battalion Officer’s Victorian Period Helmet Plate.
An extremely fine example in silver plate and gilt, crowned star back plate with laurel and Garter overlays, in the centre on a ground of black velvet laurel sprays and Dragon in gilt, at the base the double title scroll again in gilt, three lug fasteners, very good condition £300-£400
