Wuzeer served as a water carrier with “A” Battery, “B” Brigade in Afghanistan. Armed with six 9-pounder guns, the battery witnessed significant action at Ahmed Khel. It fell to the vast Indian establishment of Bhisties, Grasscutters, Saises, Mochis and Sweepers to facilitate British needs, serving as non-combatants often in the heat of battle.
