Alexander Cecil James was born in Hampstead, Middlesex, and attested into the Royal Army Medical Corps for service during the Great War. He died whilst serving with the 32nd Field Ambulance in the Mesopotamian theatre on 29 January 1917, and is buried in Baghdad (North Gate) Cemetery, Iraq.

Ernest Montague was born in London and attested into the Royal Army Medical Corps for service during the Great War. He died of wounds whilst serving with the 57th Field Ambulance on the Western Front on 24 March 1918 and is buried in Ardanac Military Cemetery, Miraumont, France.
