Third and fourth from the General Abbatucci cargo, SNC April 1998 (2181, 2182).
The General Abbatucci sank on 7 May 1869 as the result of a collision 24 miles off the north coast of Corsica. Coins from it were first sold at Christie’s South Kensington, 7 October 1997
