Important British and World Coins

Edward IV (First reign, 1461-1470), Half-Ryal, Norwich, mm. rose on rev. only, n in waves, rev. trefoils in spandrels, 3.79g/4h (B & W type V; SCBI Schneider 423, same dies; N 1557; S 1962). A little ragged at 1 o’clock, a few fine hairline surface cracks and vertical spade mark on reverse, otherwise very fine and excessively rare (£5,000-6,000)

The few known specimens are from the same dies
