Alfred Joseph Moberly, 14 Company, Western Division, Royal Garrison Artillery, died of accidentally self-inflicted wounds at Smaldeel on 7 July 1901. He was born in September 1877, educated at Bedford Grammar School, and entered the Royal Artillery in September 1897, being promoted Lieutenant in September 1900.
