A circular engraved medal with thistle decorated rim, 58mm, silver, with some faint partial Edinburgh? hallmarks, obverse engraved with ornate crowned ‘GR’, with ‘Reward of Merit’ above and ‘Fifeshire Volunteers’ below, reverse engraved ‘
Won by Ensign R. Wilkie, Best Shot with Ball at the Hundred Yards Target Practice 27th April 1802’, within a wreath of laurel, with ornate swivel ring suspension, some hairline cracks, very fine £260-£300
