Massy Hutchinson Warren was appointed Ensign in the 43rd Foot on 4 June 1812 and promoted Lieutenant on 2 December 1813. He served with the 1st Battalion in the Peninsula from September 1813 to April 1814 and was present at the crossing of the Bidassoa, and the actions at the Nivelle, Nive, Tarbes and Toulouse. Placed on half-pay on 25 March 1817, he was appointed Lieutenant in the 65th Foot on 26 August 1836 and retired the following month.
