Allan George Brown attested for the Royal Scots and served with them during the Great War in the Balkan theatre of War from 5 April 1915. He was reported as having been wounded in the Dardanelles on 13 May 1915, and subsequently transferred to the Labour Corps. He was disembodied on 19 February 1919, and died two weeks later in Edinburgh on 3 March 1919, presumably from the effects of his war service.
