Edwin Percy Symonds, a Grocer from Bletchley, Bedfordshire, attested into the Coldstream Guards on 11 October 1897 and later served during the Great War with the Military Foot Police on the Western Front from 9 August 1914. Advanced Sergeant, he was discharged on 13 January 1919 and awarded a Silver War Badge, No. B173762.
