13th-15th century, bronze seal matrices (9): pointed oval, clasped hands, iesv [––]ami lel (Jesus is a loyal friend); chess type, circular with a single loop, head of John the Baptist [capvt iohis]; shield quartered with a bird in each angle, inscription illegible; squirrel, prive sui; angel standing left facing a bird; crowned I; merchant’s symbol comprising a star and two crosses; letter L; plain with no engraving; together with 18th-century fob seals (2), first with moulded glass seal of a spaniel [11]. Varied state, first broken, all with green patina £200-£300
