Roman Imperatorial Coinage, The Triumvirs, Lepidus, silver Obol, struck at Cabellio in Gallia Narbonensis, 44-2 BC, head of Apollo right, cabe before, rev. cornucopia dividing le - pi, all within wreath, 0.50g/6h (RPC 528; CRI 491; DLT 2545). Extremely fine, dark toned with attractive iridescence; a superb example of this rare and historically important issue £600-£800
