Currency Commission, Consolidated Ploughman Series, watermarked paper for all £1 notes issued between 1929 and 1940, complete with coloured paper fibres as issued, glued into cream paper frame, ink annotations on frame and paper, as issued, extremely rare, this being one of only three Ploughman watermarks in the Portals archive
