Slough, William Till and John Peckham, Proof mule Halfpenny, in silver, arms of the Till family, rev. arms of the Peckham family, edge plain, 12.41g/12h (DH 25; Preston-Morley 1049). Usual flaw on reverse rim, extremely fine and attractively toned, of the highest rarity and easily the best of the two known specimens (£600-800)
