British Iron Age, ATREBATES and REGNI, Epaticcus, silver Unit, epati inside panel around, rev. lion bounding right, box with pellets below, 1.28g/9h (BMC 2330; ABC 1355; VA 583-1; S 359). Obverse very fine, reverse about extremely fine, struck from dies of good style and excessively rare. £1,000-£1,200

Only seven recorded specimens are known. This latest discovery, found near Swindon, has been recorded with PAS.
