Important British and World Coins

Mary (1542-1567), Testoon, 1561, plain cross over crown, 5.92g/10h (SCBI 35, 1112; B 3, fig. 897; S 5422). Some old scuffing and scratches both sides but more particularly on reverse, otherwise about very fine and nicely centred with well-struck portrait, very rare (£2,000-2,500)
