British Iron Age, DOBUNNI, silver Unit, Cotswold Cock [head type A], moon head right, pelleted crescents for hair, cog on chin, curved ornament in field, rev. triple-tailed horse left, cock’s head below, wheel to front, 1.28g (ABC 2012; BMC 2950-1; VA 1020; S 377). Bright surfaces, sharply-struck on a broad flan, good very fine or better, rare thus £300-£400
