Danelaw, St Peter Coinage, Penny, Phase III, c. 921-27, Sword/Mallet type, scii tiiip in two lines divided by sword with point to left, cross pattée above and below, rev. e [trefoil]ritioi, large voided hammer, 1.22g/9h (Stewart & Lyon 24b = Lockett 445, same dies; N 556; S 1015). Minute perforations along the inner circle, otherwise full, round and well struck up, good very fine and rare thus £4,000-£5,000
