The Strathclyde Regional Council Bravery Medal, in effect the ‘4th type’ of the Glasgow Bravery Medal, was introduced in 1975 following the reorganisation of the local government in Scotland. Manufactured by ‘J.W.B.’, it was issued in gold.
James Brash, 508 Maryhill Road. Awarded on 25 November 1976. ‘... in rescuing a child from the Forth and Clyde Canal’.
