Cinque Ports Artillery Volunteers, a most fine and rare officer’s forage cap badge c1860, in silver bullion thread and pale blue silk, a fused grenade over an oval ‘Pro Aris et Focis’ and enclosing the arms of the Cinque Ports couched within laurel sprays, these overlaid with a scroll ‘Cinque Ports Artillery Volunteers’; together with a scarce other ranks white metal KC helmet plate c1902-08, laurel top scroll and ‘Cinque Ports Artillery Vols’ on the bottom, the first item in excellent condition, the second missing the unicorn’s horn, otherwise good condition (2) £300-400
