Only one officer and one other rank of the 11th Hussars were present in the 1882 campaign, viz. Captain C. E. Swaine, A.D.C. to Brigadier-General, Cavalry Brigade, and Private J. Graham who appears on the roll of the 4th Dragoon Guards with ‘11th Hussars’ against his name in the ‘remarks’ column.
