The musters for 6 Brigade in 1882 show this man to be attached to 33 Coy. R.E. in April and May, and to 17 Coy. R.E. in June. He rejoined 6 Brigade on 1 July 1882, and was discharged by purchase on 11 June 1883 (WO 16/670).
