Note not entitled to Abu Klea clasp and British War Medal has naming erased.
Alfred Edward Pratt served on the Nile with 1st Royal Sussex Regiment before transferring to the Royal Garrison Artillery. He served in France from March 1916 as a Sergeant-Major in the Liverpool Regiment and was promoted to Lieutenant and Quartermaster in the same regiment.
